Job summary

Select Medical is seeking a Regional Technology Operations Specialist II for the Detroit region to deliver enterprise-wide technical services, including endpoint, printing, mobile device support and basic network infrastructure. The role requires a BS/BA in IT or CS, 5+ years in IS, 3+ years end-user support, and regular regional travel; occasional after-hours work may be required.

This position supports Select Specialty Hospitals in Mount Clemens, Pontiac, Ypsilanti, Flint, and Saginaw,

Qualifications

• BS or BA in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent work experience.
• In lieu of undergraduate degree, one year of college equals one year of work experience.
• 5+ years of experience in Information Systems.
• 3+ years of hands-on end-user support for endpoint devices, operating systems and network infrastructure devices.
• Regular regional travel is required and availability beyond standard business hours to address mission critical issues that may affect patient care.

Responsibilities

• Respond to Solution Center trouble tickets and provide end-user support for network software, OS, hardware, and peripherals.
• Escalate out-of-scope issues to proper IS departments or vendors per procedures.
• Install, troubleshoot and diagnose software/hardware issues on Windows desktops, iOS devices, printers, and network equipment.
• Monitor and report security violations related to unwarranted access to corporate data.
• Coordinate with IS teams and vendors for planning and installation of desktop hardware, mobile devices, and network cabling.
