Job summary

Applied Medical is seeking a Regional Account Manager Associate to support surgical case coverage across the San Francisco Bay Area and surrounding districts. The role requires clinical and technical proficiency to assist surgeons, nurses and OR staff during procedures, while collaborating with field teams to implement sales and service strategies.

The ideal candidate has a 4-year degree and up to two years in sales, healthcare, or clinical support, with strong communication and problem-solving

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 0-2+ years of sales, healthcare, or clinical support experience.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% across the district.

Responsibilities

• Provide surgical case coverage across multiple accounts within the assigned multi-state district.
• Serve as a district-wide resource to support case coverage needs and product evaluations.
• Deliver clinical and technical expertise to surgeons, nurses, and operating room staff during live procedures.
• Partner with territory sales representatives and district leadership to execute sales and service strategies.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with physicians, clinical staff, and hospital administrators.
• Demonstrate knowledge of products, techniques, and competitors to support procedural success.
• Assist with staff education, product training, and in-servicing for proper adoption.
• Maintain records of case activity and territory support using reporting tools.
• Travel extensively across the district, maintaining a flexible schedule for urgent coverage.
