Job summary

Applied Medical in Minneapolis seeks a field support professional to provide surgical case coverage across a multi‑state district. You will deliver clinical and technical expertise to surgeons, nurses and OR staff while partnering with sales to execute strategies.

The role requires 1–2+ years in sales, healthcare or clinical support, a 4‑year degree, strong communication skills, and willingness to travel. Credentialing such as vaccination may apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 4 year degree is required.
• 1–2+ years of sales, healthcare, or clinical support experience.
• Ability to learn medical terminology, surgical procedures and product information quickly.
• Willingness to travel extensively across a 2–3 state district.
• Must live in the position’s geographic area or be willing to relocate.
• Credentialing requirements such as COVID‑19 vaccination may apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide surgical case coverage across multiple accounts in the multi‑state district.
• Serve as a district-wide resource for case coverage, evaluations, and absences.
• Deliver clinical and technical expertise to surgeons and OR staff during procedures.
• Partner with territory sales reps and district leadership to execute strategies.
• Develop relationships with physicians, clinical staff, and hospital admins.
• Demonstrate knowledge of products, techniques, and competitive offerings.
• Assist with staff education, training and in‑servicing of devices.
• Maintain records of case activity and territory support using reporting tools.
• Travel extensively to support urgent case coverage needs.
• Adhere to company, industry and regulatory standards.
