Job summary

Vertiv in Westerville, OH seeks a Strategy & Business Excellence Leader to own the regional operating system, including planning cadences, governance, KPI management, and NPDI visibility. You will partner with Sales, Product Management, Operations, Engineering, Finance, and Supply Chain to drive alignment and continuous improvement.

Reporting to the VP, Thermal RBU of the Americas, the role leverages Power BI and analytics to standardize reporting, automate workflows, and track outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Operations Management, Finance, or related field required.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in strategy, business operations, or management consulting within industrial, manufacturing, or technology companies.
• Demonstrated experience building business operating systems: planning cadences, KPI frameworks, review structures, governance models.
• Strong expertise in strategic planning frameworks, competitive analysis methods, and business performance management.
• Hands-on proficiency with Power BI or equivalent BI and analytics platforms.
• Experience preparing and facilitating executive-level business reviews and cross-functional interlock sessions.
• Proven ability to develop and implement KPI-driven management systems that support accountability, execution discipline, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Own and run the annual and quarterly strategic planning process for the Americas RBU, translating strategy into regional priorities and resource plans.
• Gather, synthesize, and distribute competitive intelligence to inform go-to-market decisions and portfolio positioning.
• Collect and package market intelligence into actionable briefs for leadership.
• Drive strategic initiatives from scoping through execution with measurable results.
