Job summary

Vertiv is seeking a Sr. Manager, Strategy & Execution in Westerville, OH to lead the governance framework for large customer programs.

You will operate the Large Program Control Tower, ensuring visibility across schedule, readiness, manufacturing, and logistics, with escalation and executive reporting. You will translate executive priorities into structured governance plans, drive risk management, and coordinate across Sales, PMO, Manufacturing, Engineering, and Finance to improve predictability

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field (business, operations, supply chain, engineering, analytics)
• 5+ years in program governance, PMO, control tower ops, or large program management
• Experience building governance models, control towers, cadences, scorecards, risk registers, and escalation processes
• Proficiency with ERP systems and data analytics tools (Oracle/Power BI) supporting executive visibility
• Ability to lead cross-functional accountability across Sales, PMO, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Engineering, Services, Finance, and Commercial

Responsibilities

• Own and operate the Large Program Control Tower across priority customer programs
• Define and manage governance cadence for large programs
• Translate executive priorities into structured governance plans with milestones and owners
• Maintain a single source of truth for large-program health and escalation summaries
• Drive early identification and escalation of cross-functional risks impacting commitments
• Establish cross-functional operating metronomes with key stakeholders to ensure data visibility
• Prepare executive-ready governance materials with risk heatmaps and decision recommendations
• Standardize governance practices including templates, readiness checkpoints, and escalation criteria
• Institutionalize lessons learned to improve program execution and governance maturity
• Develop tools and dashboards for real-time visibility of orders, demand, supply, and actions
• Lead special projects to accelerate decision-making and improve delivery
