Job summary

Signify, the world leader in lighting, is seeking a Regional Specification Sales Manager to lead specification sales from a home-based location in the United States, near Chicago or Minneapolis. You will oversee a team of lighting agents, drive influence with designers and specifiers, and advance Signify/CLS products in project designs.

You will define market strategies for target segments, secure inclusion in tender documents, and represent Signify at industry forums.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related technical field.
• 4+ years of experience in specification sales or business development within the lighting or building technology industry.
• Relevant professional certifications in lighting design is preferred.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future company sponsorship needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and motivate a team of lighting agents.
• Foster collaboration with architects, lighting designers, and engineering consultants.
• Define market influence strategy to position Signify/CLS as a thought leader in lighting design and technology.
• Oversee specification activities to secure inclusion of Signify's/CLS products in project designs and tender documents.
