Sumitomo Pharma America is seeking a dynamic Manager, Regional Sales – Specialty to lead a field-based team of 8-10 Territory Sales Managers across a defined Region. This full-time, remote role focuses on driving regional performance, ensuring compliant and high-impact execution, and aligning with SMPA's strategic priorities.

Expect 60–80% travel, a background in pharmaceutical sales leadership (ideally urology), and a BA/BS with proven regional sales success.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree from an accredited college or university.
• 4 years of pharmaceutical sales management experience preferred.
• Top-quartile track record in pharmaceutical sales performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead a field-based sales team of 8-10 Territory Sales Managers in a defined Region.
• Achieve and exceed sales budgets and objectives across territories.
• Provide coaching to Sales Professionals on effectiveness and development.
• Develop regional sales strategies aligned to market opportunities.
• Collaborate with Market Access, Marketing, Operations and compliance teams.
• Build relationships with providers and key thought leaders to inform market needs.
• Manage regional operations to ensure targets and budgeted goals are met.
• Ensure compliant and ethical execution across the regional team.
