Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Group company, seeks a System Support Sous Chef to lead culinary operations across NY and CT healthcare accounts. The role travels regularly, partnering with Executive Chefs to elevate food quality, staff performance, and menu execution while driving Made for More initiatives and ensuring regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate brings a strong restaurant foundation, a passion for coaching people, and the operational savvy to support diverse healthcare dining

Qualifications

• Strong restaurant culinary foundation with leadership experience.
• Ability to coach and develop culinary teams across locations.
• Operational aptitude for high-volume healthcare dining environments.
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and cost controls.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Travel between assigned healthcare accounts to provide culinary leadership and operational support.
• Partner with Executive Chefs to enhance culinary execution, food quality, presentation, and consistency.
• Coach, mentor, and develop culinary team members to foster continuous improvement.
• Support staffing, operational challenges, and high-volume service periods across locations.
• Assist with menu development, recipe execution, catering, events, and culinary innovation.
• Champion Made for More and other culinary initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and regulatory standards.
• Monitor food cost, inventory practices, and overall operational effectiveness.
• Build strong relationships with site leadership to enhance patient and client satisfaction.
