Job summary

Siemens AG in Atlanta, GA, is seeking an Area Operations Manager, Solutions, to lead end-to-end operational execution for the Georgia and Alabama region. You will drive growth, ensure delivery excellence, and align with Siemens SI B standards.

The role requires coordinating with PMO, Operations Excellence, and the Large Project Organization to leverage shared capabilities. Travel within the region is expected, and a strong background in Building Technology is preferred.

Qualifications

• 10+ years leading operations in a project-based environment.
• 3+ years of organizational leadership and talent development.
• Building Technology industry experience: HVAC, Building Automation systems, Fire Safety and Security Systems
• Financial acumen with responsibility for revenue, margin, cost control, and cash flow
• Ability to travel between Georgia and Alabama as needed
• Experience partnering effectively with Sales, Project Management, and operations organizations
• High School diploma or GED; valid driver's license
• Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship

Responsibilities

• Drive end-to-end operational performance across the assigned area, ensuring adherence to Siemens SI B standards, defined sales processes, and execution methodologies
• Meet and/or exceed quarterly and annual budget commitments, including revenue, gross margin, and operating margin targets
• Plan, direct, and oversee operational activities to support sustainable growth and consistent project execution excellence
• Monitor project performance to control costs, manage risk, and ensure delivery within scope, schedule, and cost parameters
• Partner with central Operations teams to leverage standard tools, resources, and best practices
• Provide operational and technical support to Sales teams, including pricing guidance, scope definition, and execution strategy for competitive bids
• Lead workforce planning by hiring, developing, allocating, and performance-managing resources
• Ensure balance sheet, cash flow, and working capital performance are in line with company expectations
• Maintain alignment with Area General Management on market strategy and growth initiatives
