Job summary

IronRidge, part of Enstall Solar Group, seeks a Field Applications Engineer to cultivate opportunities through technical product support, product demonstrations, and joint calls with sales staff. You will travel regionally (50%), perform on-site visits and training, and design PV layouts to support sales and customers.

The role requires 3–5 years of related experience or a bachelor’s degree, with strong communication and CRM skills; OSHA 10 and NABCEP are pluses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical documentation and codes/regulations.
• Ability to travel ~50% with 5–10 overnights per month.
• Familiarity with Salesforce (CRM) and Excel; able to learn various software tools.

Responsibilities

• Plan territory technical sales visits, events, and trainings.
• Generate training reports for customer and sales engagements.
• Coordinate and provide on-the-job training for opportunities on ground and rooftop.
• Provide feedback on product improvements and training content.
• Conduct PV layouts in design software to support sales and end users.
• Document application support questions and reports; feed insights to engineering.
