Job summary

IronRidge, Inc is seeking a Field Applications Engineer to grow the Northeast region. The role travels about half the time, meeting customers and giving hands-on product demonstrations and training.

You will document inquiries, support Sales, and relay feedback to Engineering, while maintaining a strong network in solar mounting and racking. Remote-leaning field position, with base in the Eastern US.

Qualifications

• Three to five years related experience and/or training or a bachelor's degree from a 4-year college or university; or equivalent combination of experience and education.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret professional journals, technical installation and engineering procedures and regulations.
• Ability to travel ~50% of time and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Plan territory technical sales visits, events, trainings.
• Generate training reports for engagements and tracking.
• Coordinate and provide on-the-job training for opportunities on site.
• Deliver customer feedback to improve products and training content.
• Design PV layouts in PV design software to support sales and end users.
