Job summary

Core-Mark International in Augusta, ME is seeking a Sales Service Representative to support regional sales efforts. You will manage a high volume of customer calls and emails, assist with merchandising programs, and help drive customer satisfaction and growth.

Ideal candidates will have 1–2 years in customer service or sales, a valid driver’s license, and strong organizational and communication skills. Travel to customer locations may be required, and you will work Monday through Friday with

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years in customer service, merchandising or sales.
• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
• Willing to travel as needed.
• Able to multi-task and stay organized.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Analytical / computer literate.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a detailed call routine with a designated ledger of customers.
• Execute company programs and merchandising activities (racks, plan-o-grams, ordering).
• Address customer needs promptly via phone and/or email.
• Find solutions to customer challenges with assistance.
• Identify and reduce out-of-stocks on shelves.
• Ensure products are fresh and within date code parameters.
• Maintain plan-o-gram and in-store marketing compliance.
• Identify display opportunities and optimize display positioning.
• Ensure correct pricing and labeling of products.
