Job summary

Core-Mark in Augusta, ME is seeking a Sales Service Representative to support strategic sales initiatives within the assigned region. You will collaborate with Sales Representatives, execute company programs, ensure policy compliance, and provide merchandising and sales support.

You will build strong relationships with new and existing customers, manage high-volume calls and emails, and work with the sales team to drive customer satisfaction and growth.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1-2 years in customer service, merchandising or sales
• Ability to drive to customer locations with mileage reimbursement
• Valid driver's license, clean driving record, reliable vehicle and insurance
• Highly organized and able to multi-task
• Willing to travel as needed
• Analytical / computer literate
• Excellent communication skills

Responsibilities

• Maintain detailed call routine with a designated ledger of customers.
• Execute company programs and initiatives (racks, plan-o-grams, ordering, merchandising).
• Promptly address customer needs via phone or email.
• Identify and resolve customer challenges with assistance.
• Identify out-of-stocks and improve display opportunities.
• Ensure products are displayed, priced, and dated.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
