Job summary

Core-Mark is seeking a Sales Service Representative to support our strategic sales initiatives in the assigned region. You will partner with the Sales Team to execute the SmartStock program, ensure policy compliance, and provide merchandising and sales support to customers and vendors.

Responsibilities include maintaining customer call routines, optimizing in-store displays, reducing stockouts, and ensuring products are fresh, correctly priced, and well presented.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED certificate.
• Ability to drive to customer locations using personal transportation (mileage and gasoline reimbursement provided).
• Must have a valid driver's license, clean driving record, reliable vehicle, and proper valid insurance.
• 1-2 years of working experience in a customer service, merchandising or sales position.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining a detailed and specific call routine with a designated ledger of customers.
• Maintenance and execution of the SmartStock program (racks, plan-o-grams, ordering, and merchandising activities).
• Identifying and reducing out-of-stocks on shelves.
• Ensuring products are fresh and within date code parameters.
• Attending to customer needs and concerns promptly.
• Ensuring plan-o-gram, marketing best practices, and compliance in stores.
• Identifying display opportunities and maximizing display positioning.
• Ensuring that products are properly displayed, priced, and identified.
• Finding solutions to possible customer challenges with assistance.
• Performing other tasks and duties as assigned.
