Job summary

Core-Mark is seeking a Sales Service Representative to support strategic sales initiatives in the assigned region. You will work with the Sales Team to execute the SmartStock program, maintain customer relationships, and ensure merchandising and compliance in stores.

You will build strong customer partnerships, manage call routines, and help reduce out-of-stocks while ensuring freshness and accurate pricing. This role requires a reliable vehicle and regular travel to customer locations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1-2 years of working experience in a customer service, merchandising or sales position.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a detailed call routine with a ledger of customers.
• Execute the SmartStock program (racks, plan-o-grams, ordering, merchandising).
• Identify and reduce out-of-stocks on shelves.
• Ensure products are fresh and within date code parameters.
• Attend to customer needs and concerns promptly.
• Ensure plan-o-gram, marketing best practices, and store compliance.
• Identify display opportunities and maximize display positioning.
• Ensure products are properly displayed, priced, and identified.
• Resolve customer challenges with assistance as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
