Job summary

Core-Mark is seeking a Sales Service Representative to support strategic sales initiatives in the assigned region. You will work closely with the Sales Team to implement the SmartStock program, ensure policy compliance, and provide merchandising and sales support.

Build strong customer relationships and address vendor and customer needs to drive business forward. Ideal candidate will have strong communication, be self-motivated, and able to travel to convenience stores and customer locations

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1+ years of experience in retail, convenience/grocery, foodservice, or sales.
• Ability to drive to customer locations using personal transportation (mileage and gasoline reimbursement provided).
• Must have a valid driver's license, clean driving record, reliable vehicle, and proper valid insurance.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining a detailed and specific call routine with a designated ledger of customers.
• Maintenance and execution of the SmartStock program (racks, plan-o-grams, ordering, and merchandising activities).
• Identifying and reducing out-of-stocks on shelves.
• Ensuring products are fresh and within date code parameters.
• Attending to customer needs and concerns promptly.
• Ensuring plan-o-gram, marketing best practices, and compliance in stores.
• Identifying display opportunities and maximizing display positioning.
• Ensuring that products are properly displayed, priced, and identified.
• Finding solutions to possible customer challenges with assistance.
• Performing other tasks and duties as assigned.
