Core-Mark in Augusta, ME is seeking a Sales Service Representative to support our regional sales initiatives, working closely with Sales Representatives to implement programs and merchandising plans. You will build strong customer relationships and help drive initiatives across the assigned territory.

The role emphasizes professional communication, accurate order handling, and adherence to company policies, with a focus on customer satisfaction and growth.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1-2 years in customer service, merchandising or sales.
• Ability to drive to customer locations with mileage reimbursement.
• Valid driver''s license, clean driving record, reliable vehicle and insurance.
• Must be exceptionally organized and able to multi-task.
• Ability to travel as needed.
• Must be analytical / computer literate
• Must have great communication skills

Responsibilities

• Maintaining a detailed and specific call routine with a designated ledger of customers.
• Maintenance and execution of company programs and initiatives (racks, plan-o-grams, ordering, and merchandising activities).
• Attending to customer needs and concerns promptly via phone and/or email
• Finding solutions to possible customer challenges with assistance.
• Identifying and reducing out-of-stocks on shelves.
• Ensuring products are fresh and within date code parameters.
• Ensuring plan-o-gram, marketing best practices, and compliance in stores.
• Identifying display opportunities and maximizing display positioning.
• Ensuring that products are properly displayed, priced, and identified.
