Dover Precision Components (DPC) invites applications for a Regional Sales Manager role in Houston, TX. The position manages both direct customers and the distribution channel within an assigned territory to achieve sales and revenue goals.

The ideal candidate has a background in business or engineering, 3–5 years of outside industrial sales experience, and a willingness to travel up to four days per week. Located in the territory, you will engage with customers and distributors to drive growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Engineering.
• Three to five years of outside industrial sales experience.
• Knowledge of rotating equipment or related technologies.
• Ability to travel four days per week.
• Must reside in the territory it represents.
• Openness to visiting customer manufacturing facilities.

Responsibilities

• Designs and recommends sales programs and sets short‑ and long‑term sales strategies.
• Evaluates and implements new sales techniques to increase sales volume.
• Recommends product or service enhancements to improve customer satisfaction and sales potential.
• Conducts training and educational programs with customers, distributors, and representatives.
• Performs sales calls with distributors and manufacturing reps, including cold calls.
• Troubleshoots customer issues and recommends solutions.
• Prepares weekly call reports detailing contacts made each week using an online reporting program.
