Job summary

Dover Precision Components, part of Dover Corporation, is hiring a Regional Sales Manager for Bearings Plus in the Pearland/South Houston area. You will manage and develop customer accounts for the Greater Houston area and serve as the primary liaison for repairs, upgrades and services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Engineering or equivalent.
• 3–5 years outside industrial sales or project management experience.
• Willingness to travel 4 days per week.
• Must reside in the territory represented.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage customer accounts in the Greater Houston area.
• Serve as primary contact for fluid film bearing repairs and service.
• Develop relationships with aftermarket shops, distributors, and end users.
• Collaborate with engineering and inside sales to generate quotes.
• Manage P.O.s and document in the ERP system.
• Maintain a strong sales pipeline with tollgate points.
• Provide weekly call reports detailing contacts made.
• Conduct training with customers, distributors and representatives.
• Design and implement sales programs and short- and long-term strategies.
• Evaluate and implement new sales techniques to increase volume.
