Job summary

Dover Precision Components, Bearings Plus brand, is hiring a Regional Sales Manager to grow aftermarket relationships with repair shops, distributors, and end users in the Houston market. You will collaborate with engineering and inside sales to generate quotes, process orders, and drive short‑ and long‑term sales strategies.

You should have a Bachelor's degree in Business or Engineering (or related sales experience), 3+ years outside industrial sales, and the ability to travel to customer

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Engineering; or related experience.
• 3+ years of outside industrial sales in related industry such as fluid film bearings.
• Project management experience in related field.
• Ability to visit customer facilities 4 days a week, primarily in the Houston marketplace.
• Must reside in the territory represented (Houston) with valid driver’s license.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret sales drawings.

Responsibilities

• Develop new relationships with aftermarket repair shops, distributors, and end users, with heavy emphasis on in‑person meetings.
• Collaborate with engineering and inside sales to generate quotes for customers.
• Receive customer P.O.s and formalize them in the ERP.
• Act as a liaison between customer and operations and update customers on progress.
• Recommend product or service enhancements to improve customer satisfaction and sales potential.
• Maintain a strong sales pipeline with tollgate points for solicitation, pricing and follow up.
• Prepare and present weekly call reports detailing contacts made.
• Conduct training and educational programs with customers, distributors and representatives.
• Design and implement sales programs and short‑ and long‑term strategies.
• Evaluate and adopt new sales techniques to increase volume.
• Troubleshoot customer issues with recommended solutions.
