Job summary

AMETEK Power Instruments, a leader in electronic instrumentation, seeks a Regional Sales Manager for the Western US. The role is remote, selling Measurement & Monitoring, Protection & Control, and Sensor products to utilities, EPCs, and industrial customers. Travel to key accounts is required.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in technical power sales, deep knowledge of Western utility markets, and a Bachelor’s degree. Remote work with 20–40% travel is expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience selling technical products in power markets.
• Knowledge of Western U.S. utility and energy markets.
• Experience with metering, protection & control or related tech.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage regional sales strategies to hit bookings and revenue targets.
• Grow accounts with utilities, EPCs, and industrial customers; expand channel partners.
• Forecast accurately and manage CRM pipeline; provide market intelligence.
