Knight’s Companies Inc. is seeking an Area Sales Manager to lead the ready-mix concrete sales in the Charleston market. The role focuses on driving growth, building strong customer relationships, and guiding a high-performing sales team to achieve targets.

You will collaborate with operations and marketing teams, monitor market trends, and manage pricing and bids to stay competitive while ensuring profitability. A bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in related leadership roles are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of progressive leadership experience in ready-mix, aggregates, or construction materials.
• Proven experience in sales management with ability to meet or exceed targets.
• Strong leadership and team development skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and strategic direction to the regional ready-mix concrete sales team.
• Develop and execute sales strategies for commercial and residential segments.
• Lead and develop the regional sales team to achieve targets.
• Collaborate with Regional GM to align sales initiatives and forecasts.
• Ensure world-class customer experience with high satisfaction.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity for growth opportunities.
• Direct the sales organization to achieve volume, margin, and customer satisfaction goals.
• Maintain relationships with key accounts, contractors, and developers.
• Oversee pricing strategy, contracts, and bid processes for profitability.
