Knight’s Companies Inc. is seeking an Area Sales Manager to lead the ready-mix concrete sales team across the Charleston market. This role focuses on driving profitable growth, managing key accounts, and delivering a world-class customer experience.

You will lead a high-performing sales team, collaborate with regional leadership, and ensure pricing and bids support profitability while maintaining strong customer relationships across commercial and residential segments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or construction management.
• Minimum of 5 years leadership experience in ready-mix/construction materials.
• Proven sales management experience in construction materials.
• Strong leadership and team development skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to travel regularly within the area.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and strategic direction to the regional ready-mix concrete sales team.
• Drive growth with sales strategies for commercial and residential segments.
• Lead, motivate and develop the regional sales team to meet targets.
• Collaborate with the Regional General Manager to align forecasts and goals.
• Oversee pricing, contract negotiations, and bid processes.
