Job summary

ABB seeks a Regional Sales Manager to lead a team of Account Managers selling the Pulp & Paper portfolio, including DCS, QCS, Drives, Lab Measurement and related services. You will coach, coach, and drive campaigns while coordinating with product managers and market segments to grow revenue and margins in the NAM region.

The role requires a strong background in selling technical products in complex environments, willingness to travel up to 50%, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 6+ years selling a technical product or solution in a complex business environment
• Willingness and ability to travel as required to manage the Region (up to ~50%)
• Experience with Salesforce CRM is preferred
• Strong communication, organizational and writing skills are essential

Responsibilities

• Lead the regional sales team to achieve annual regional and individual goals for orders and margins
• Help prepare proposals for large projects and determine pursuit strategies
• Negotiate major customer agreements and manage key accounts in the region
• Collaborate with Product Managers and Market Segment Management to drive initiatives
• Track and forecast opportunities and provide monthly regional performance and forecast reports
• Provide feedback to marketing on products and market opportunities and resolve customer issues
• Maintain senior-level contact with major accounts and build long-term relationships
• Ensure sales teams follow established processes and reporting requirements
