Valmet is seeking an experienced Regional Sales Manager to lead automation sales in the Pulp and Paper industry across the Western USA and Canada. You will manage direct sales, build strategic initiatives, and develop customer relationships to meet targets, traveling as needed.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver technical solutions, provide market feedback to product and R&D, and drive growth in a dynamic, matrix-organized environment.

Qualifications

• Extensive background and proven experience in the Pulp and Paper Industry.
• Strong sales mindset and capability to work with customers on many levels.
• Seasoned in working within a matrix organization, displaying exceptional adaptability and the capability to excel in an independent sales role.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Willingness to travel within the designated territory, with occasional support provided to other areas as required.
• This position requires a valid driver's license
