Job summary

ABB Inc. is seeking a Distribution Control Systems (DCS) Sales Support Driver for the Pulp & Paper North America region. You will back the sales team with technical and commercial support, lead bids and proposals, and drive DCS opportunities from new systems to upgrades.

The role reports to the Sales Manager and requires heavy collaboration across internal teams, travel up to 50%, and significant DCS experience to deliver cost-effective, ABB-aligned solutions.

Qualifications

• Significant experience with Distributed Control Systems is required.
• Experience with ABB's 800xA DCS preferred.
• 2+ years in P&P industry in a sales support or related role is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create and deliver product demonstrations, training sessions, and technical presentations for customers and sales teams.
• Support ABB P&P Automation Roadshow for DCS-focused visits and develop cost-effective solutions.
• Develop long-term migration plans for existing DCS installations.
• Manage proposal generations, bid responses, and pricing to align with ABB standards and targets.
• Interface with internal suppliers and factories regarding pricing, delivery, and technical questions.
• Collaborate with sales management to achieve annual DCS order targets and growth.
• Provide required technical support during meetings, presentations, and negotiations.
