Job summary

Vanteo is building a new BDV Cultural Exchange sales function and is seeking a Regional Sales Leader for Minnesota. You will own a region, quota, and a four-person New Sales team, mapping districts and schools, and driving multi-brand opportunities across five J-1 brands.

You will recruit, coach, and ramp four reps, partner with state education departments and recruiters, and lead from the front to hit regional targets amid a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in new-business B2B or B2G sales with consistent attainment.
• Experience leading a quota-carrying team (2+ years) and hiring/developing reps.
• Proven ability to build a funnel from scratch in a new territory.
• Understanding of K-12 buyer dynamics across districts, charter networks, private and voucher-funded schools.
• Comfort with long, 2–3 year sales cycles.
• Knowledge of J-1 or education staffing is strongly preferred.
• Experience turning state agencies or recruiters into referrals.
• CRM discipline with HubSpot or similar system.

Responsibilities

• Create the funnel and map the market for your region.
• Build the region's pipeline from zero across districts, schools, and networks.
• Develop partnerships with state Departments of Education and recruiters.
• Attend state/regional conferences, job fairs, and events to source opportunities.
• Carry and close a regional quota and lead from the front.
• Hire and ramp four New Sales Reps and manage independent contractors.
• Coach reps with regular development plans and clear career paths.
• Forecast with HubSpot and deliver regional commitments to leadership.
• Collaborate with other teams to share leads and coordinate multi-brand opportunities.
