Job summary

Pye-Barker Fire & Safety is seeking a Security Sales Manager to lead the Sales Department, optimize team performance, and drive revenue growth. The role focuses on hiring and training managers, setting quotas, and coordinating with executives to shape sales strategies.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's in business or related field or equivalent leadership experience, with at least three years in sales and strong communication and negotiation skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, Business Administration or related field, OR
• Comparable record of sales leadership experience required.
• At least three years of sales experience required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent sales and customer service skills with proven negotiation skills.
• Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Responsibilities

• Hires and trains regional and local sales managers and staff.
• Organizes schedules, territories, and performance of regional/local teams.
• Conducts timely performance evaluations.
• Provides leadership to the sales team.
• Motivates the sales team to meet quotas.
• Reviews sales data to project targets and profitability.
• Identifies customer preferences to direct sales efforts.
• Assigns territories and quotas.
• Consults with potential customers to meet their needs.
• Resolves customer issues affecting sales operations.
• Collaborates with executives on quotas and strategies.
• Prepares and monitors sales budget and expenses.
• Represents the company at trade association meetings.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
