Job summary

CMC seeks a senior sales leader to drive Tensar systems across Ontario, Quebec, and Atlantic Canada. The role reports to the Director, Canada, with base flexibility in the Greater Toronto Area or Montreal.

You will qualify bids, develop technical specs with engineers, and manage distributor relationships while guiding growth in civil construction sectors. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in construction sales, strong bilingual capabilities, and willingness to travel 25–50% regionally.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years work experience in the construction industry.
• 5+ years of sales experience.
• Experience creating specifications with municipal and consulting engineers.
• Experience selling through or supporting distribution partners.
• Bilingual English and French (written and spoken).
• Ability to travel regionally 25%–50%.

Responsibilities

• Assist and support the qualification of Tensar proprietary systems by implementing bid strategies to close business.
• Create specifications for Tensar systems with municipal and consulting engineers and pull them through to construction, coordinating with owners and contractors.
• Act as a liaison between Tensar's engineering department and the client to maximize efficiency.
• Develop and execute a business development plan focused on transportation, development, commercial projects and civil construction.
• Manage and grow distributor relationships across the territory.
• Train, educate, and provide technical support to distributors and assist on job sites as required.
• Generate monthly reports to the Area Director to track key projects and forecast sales.
