Job summary

nVent is seeking an experienced sales professional to drive growth across CADDY Commercial, Electrical, Mechanical and Fire/Seismic segments in Canada. You will manage end-user projects, leadership of 3rd party agents, and extensive customer engagement.

You will develop regional strategies, train partners, and use Salesforce to manage opportunities while traveling about 50% of the time from a home office in the Toronto or Montreal area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent sales experience is preferred.
• Outside sales/territory management experience in electrical/mechanical or commercial sales is desirable.
• Experience with end-user customers on projects and with distributors/3rd party agents is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Meet and exceed sales targets for CADDY Commercial, Electrical, Mechanical and Fire/Seismic lines as well as GARDNER BENDER.
• Lead 3rd party sales agents and set territory goals.
• Build relationships with end-user customers and distributor partners.
• Provide product expertise and coordinate contractor trainings.
• Deliver compelling presentations and highlight value propositions.
• Develop regional sales strategies and plans to achieve targets.
• Communicate market dynamics and feedback to improve solutions.
• Utilize Salesforce to manage opportunities.
