Job summary

Cemex US is seeking an Area Admixtures Sales professional to interface with customers and potential customers while handling sales and opportunities for Cemex products in Canada. You will work under the Sales Manager to expand existing accounts and identify upsell opportunities while providing technical support and market feedback.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years’ experience in building materials industry is preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Strong basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of customer operations.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Gain a deep understanding of customer segments and the construction sector as it relates to economic metrics.
• Grow the existing customer base and develop opportunities beyond current accounts; identify upsell opportunities.
• Build rapport and communicate effectively with all levels of customer organizations and management; maintain business relationships.
• Provide technical support to customers with inquiries regarding purchases.
• Communicate price information to customers and help develop market price strategy with Admixtures Sales Manager.
• Coordinate with accounting & logistics to resolve customer issues.
• Be honest and proactive in all communications.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
