Job summary

Lonestar Forklift, an integral entity of Leavitt Industrial Group, is seeking a Regional Sales Manager in Austin, Texas. You will build and lead a sales team, drive revenue and profitability, and manage commissions while collaborating with manufacturers and business units to target large accounts.

The role requires 3–5 years in outside sales in material handling, strong leadership, and solid MS Office and CRM experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years in outside sales within material handling equipment
• Leadership experience preferred in sales
• Post-secondary education in business, sales, marketing or related field
• Proven cold-calling and telephone marketing ability
• Strong presentation and negotiation skills
• MS Office proficiency (Excel, Word, Outlook, Access)
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel the territory

Responsibilities

• Hire and develop a sales team based on market penetration and profitability
• Provide ongoing sales training, coaching, and mentorship
• Set targets and coach the team to achieve results
• Manage monthly commissions for Sales Representatives
• Create reports analyzing sales activity and trends
• Monitor sales pipeline using the CRM system
• Target large accounts and coordinate with business units
• Visit customers with Sales Representatives when needed
• Drive rental revenue and partner with manufacturers as directed
