Job summary

Dover Precision Components seeks a Regional Sales Engineer to cover Arizona, California, Nevada and Utah, with ideal home bases in Phoenix, Los Angeles or Las Vegas. The role blends technical sales with strategic planning and direct customer engagement to grow the business.

You will develop plans, train distributors, support customers with bearing protection solutions, and work with engineering and service teams to ensure top-tier satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in sales or customer-facing technical roles.
• Bachelor’s or associate degree preferred, or equivalent work experience.
• Strong understanding of mechanical applications.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Willingness to drive within territory and hold a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Develop a strategic plan to include new customer calls along with expanding existing customer business.
• Identify, develop, design, and execute sales techniques for new and existing customers, distributors, and representatives to increase sales volume and gross profit.
• Provide technical support and application expertise to customers, ensuring the right product fit for their needs.
• Collaborate with engineering and customer service to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Foster effective customer relationships to manage customer satisfaction and sales potential.
• Schedule and participate in installations of products at customer sites and provide solutions for product issues.
• Mentor, coach, and develop distributor sales teams to increase sales volume.
• Prepare and deliver training programs with customers, distributors, end-users.
• Maintain records of sales activity, pipeline development, and customer interactions.
