Job summary

Flowers Bakeries has an immediate opening for an Area Sales Director in the Raleigh area. The role supports DSD sales and Independent Distributors, builds strong customer relationships, and drives opportunities for growth using digital tools to show wins and opportunities.

The Area Sales Director works with a Market Vice President to analyze market opportunities and leverages consumer insights to optimize sales strategies and territory performance. A valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• 5 years of relevant experience in general management or sales.
• Bachelor’s degree (preferably Sales or Business Administration) or equivalent experience.
• Must be able to acquire and maintain a DOT Medical Card.
• Valid Driver's License and Safe Driving Record.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Support DSD (direct store delivery) sales and IDs (Independent Distributors).
• Manage customer relationships and engage in sales activities.
• Grow customer base and seek new selling opportunities in the market.
• Track sales data and report to Market VP and Sales Enablement team.
• Use consumer insights to adjust sales strategies and maximize market opportunities.
