Job summary

Flowers Bakeries has an immediate opening for an Area Sales Director to oversee direct store delivery and Independent Distributors, building strong relationships with key accounts and driving in-market growth.

You will analyze market opportunities with a Market Vice President and the Sales Enablement team, using consumer insights to shape sales strategies, ensure promotional execution, and optimize territory performance.

Qualifications

• 5 years of relevant experience in general management or sales.
• Experience as a sales rep, distributor, or other sales position required.
• Bachelor's degree (preferably Sales or Business Administration) or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Support DSD sales and IDs (Independent Distributors) and manage customer relationships.
• Grow customer base and seek new selling opportunities in the market; track sales data.
• Collaborate with Market VP and Sales Enablement to analyze market and territory opportunities and adjust strategies.
