Job summary

Omicron-Electronics in Houston, TX, is seeking a Sales & Application Engineer for the US South Central region. This hybrid role combines technical product expertise with direct customer engagement and field demonstrations.

The successful candidate will manage relationships with customers and reps, coordinate visits and product showcases, and maintain CRM records to support sales forecasting and growth in the North American market.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in power systems, especially in protection or high voltage apparatus.
• Minimum 1 year of sales experience selling testing equipment for the electric power industry.
• Bachelor's degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent education.

Responsibilities

• Become technically proficient in OMICRON products and solutions.
• Develop and maintain customer relationships for assigned accounts.
• Coordinate customer visits, demonstrations, and post-sale support.
• Record meetings, leads, opportunities, and activities in the CRM.
• Travel domestically up to 50%; international travel may be required.
