Job summary

Forward Air Corporation seeks a Regional Workplace Safety Manager to lead safety initiatives across transportation terminals, warehouses, and offices in the region. You will partner with operations to build a strong safety culture and ensure regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities include incident investigations, program development, training delivery, and KPI analysis. Travel is required to cover multiple facilities and programs in the region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a safety-related field; equivalent experience considered.
• CSP/ASP/OSHA CDS or other safety credentials preferred.
• 5+ years of workplace safety experience in transportation, logistics, or warehousing.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA, FMCSA, and DOT regulations.
• Experience leading safety programs across multiple facilities.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with FMCSA, DOT, OSHA and local regulations.
• Develop and improve regional safety programs and procedures.
• Lead incident investigations and root cause analyses.
• Deliver safety training to employees, drivers, and leadership.
• Analyze safety KPIs and present findings to leadership.
• Support emergency planning, crisis management and business continuity.
