Job summary

Worldwide Flight Services seeks a Regional Safety Director to oversee station safety operations across a region, ensuring compliance with company, client, and federal regulations. The role leads Regional Safety Managers and guides safety audits and corrective actions.

The ideal candidate has at least 10 years in airport/cargo safety, strong OSHA/FAA knowledge, and proven leadership to coordinate safety programs and regulatory adherence across multiple stations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in airport/cargo safety services.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA, FAA, and related regulations.

Responsibilities

• Manage team of Regional Safety Managers
• Set priorities and audit schedule for RSSMs
• Ensure RSSMs track compliance of stations to the IQSMS Program
• Ensure stations follow standard safety protocols and procedures
• Maintain knowledge of OSHA/FAA regulations and airport operations
• Investigate safety violations and prepare preventive actions
• Identify irregular conditions risking safety
• Maintain safety records per authorities
• Prepare organization for safety audits by third parties
• Ensure regulatory safety requirements are met
• Plan and implement safety programs to improve procedures
