Irby Construction Company in the United States seeks a Regional Safety Director (Distribution) to oversee regional safety programs, audit field operations, and lead safety professionals across projects. The role requires strong leadership, expert knowledge of safety practices, and the ability to drive corrective actions and strategic safety plans.

The candidate will monitor safety metrics, coordinate with operations leadership, and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

Formación

• Minimum 5 years of related safety experience and training.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent work experience may be considered.
• Experience administering safety programs across multiple projects or jobsites.
• Proven leadership supervising safety professionals or field teams.
• Strong knowledge of occupational safety practices, incident investigation, corrective-action processes, and regulatory compliance.
• Must maintain a valid driver's license and successfully complete required background screening.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. No employer sponsorship is offered for this position.

Responsabilidades

• Administer and oversee safety programs across multiple projects in the region.
• Perform audits and inspections of work areas and provide safety expertise.
• Supervise and develop Safety Coordinators and regional safety professionals.
• Audit jobsite safety reports and verify implementation of safety elements.
• Investigate accidents and incidents; ensure corrective actions are completed.
• Track and report regional safety performance metrics to leadership.
