Job summary
Johns Manville is seeking a Regional Technical Manager to lead the field technical team across Roofing Systems and related products within designated states. You will work with the District Sales Manager to identify target contractors and guide actions to achieve the business plan.
The ideal candidate will bring technical roofing expertise, strong leadership and customer-service skills, and willingness to travel up to 50%.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required, technical discipline preferred.
- 10 years building product experience with 5+ years in customer-facing roles.
- 3+ years supervisory experience.
- Strong knowledge of roofing practices and roofing/ construction legal issues.
- Proven leadership and customer service skills.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Responsibilities
- Supervise and develop field technical organization; onboarding, training, and career development.
- Develop selective contractor base with District Sales Manager to grow sales profitably.
- Respond to issues proactively and work with contractors to resolve installation issues.
- Handle product complaints within one business day.
- Provide proactive services to improve quality and workmanship under Peak Advantage Contractor Program.
- May perform other duties as assigned.
