Job summary

Fairway Management is seeking a Roaming Property Manager to support multiple affordable housing sites across the region. You will travel between properties to assist in leasing, compliance, budgeting, reporting, and resident relations, ensuring standards and timely rent collection.

Responsibilities include inspecting units, overseeing maintenance, and coordinating with vendors. Travel and after-hours coverage may be required; LIHTC and Fair Housing knowledge is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in affordable housing property management.
• Experience with Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC).
• Strong knowledge of Real Page Onesite.
• Familiar with fair housing and state/local regulations.
• Proficient in auditing, training, and enforcing standards.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable with new software.

Responsibilities

• Travel daily to sites within the region to support operations.
• Assist with leasing, compliance, maintenance, resident inquiries, and rent collections.
• Ensure compliance with Fair Housing and affordable housing programs.
• Process move-ins/recertifications and inspections as required.
• Inspect units and supervise outside vendors; manage turnover and market vacant units.
• Be available for after-hours emergencies and regional trainings.
