Job summary

Belite Bio is seeking a Region Business Director in the San Diego area to recruit, hire, and lead a high-performing team of Territory Business Managers. This leader will drive the regional commercial strategy for Belite’s first-in-class retina therapy, coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure compliant, customer-centric execution in a fast-paced start-up environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree a plus.
• 8+ years of pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device sales experience, including 5+ years of direct sales management/first-line leadership.
• Ophthalmology/retina or rare/orphan disease experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, onboard, and develop a high-performing TBM team across an assigned region.
• Translate national brand strategy into a regional business plan and set territory strategy.
• Coach TBMs with field coaching on pre-call planning, listening, probing, and clinical impact.
• Manage regional budget, expenses, and resource allocation.
