Job summary

Belite Bio is seeking a Territory Business Manager to drive launch readiness and ongoing commercialization in the eye care space. You will educate retina specialists, ophthalmologists, and other stakeholders, prioritizing patient access and adoption while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

The role requires 5+ years in pharma/biotech sales, ophthalmology experience preferred, and the ability to travel 20-60% within the Pittsburgh-Upstate NY territory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5+ years of pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device sales experience.
• Ophthalmology, retina, or rare/orphan disease experience strongly preferred.
• Prior product launch experience, ideally in a small or pre-commercial biopharma setting.
• Strong understanding of the payer/reimbursement landscape including hub services and patient access support models.
• Proven ability to build relationships with academic and community retina specialists, ophthalmologists, optometrists, genetic counselors, and care providers.
• Exceptional communication and cross-functional collaboration skills; high integrity and comfort operating in a compliance-forward culture.
• Willingness to travel 20-60% of the time based on territory footprint.
• Must live in territory.

Responsibilities

• Translate national brand strategy into a territory plan and meet sales objectives.
• Drive product adoption through pre-call planning and clinical messaging.
• Build disease state knowledge to deliver effective messaging and patient access education.
• Develop relationships with retina specialists, ophthalmologists, optometrists, and other healthcare staff.
• Manage territory budget and resource allocation.
• Represent Belite Bio at regional/national conferences and advocacy events.
