Job summary

MCR Safety Group seeks a Regional Sales Manager-Retail Channel to drive revenue and market share across assigned retail partners, distributors, dealers, and buying groups. This remote/field-based role covers MN, IA, WI, and potentially northern MO, with travel 60% and occasional overnights.

The candidate will develop territory plans, train sales teams, and provide product expertise while expanding relationships with end-user customers and channels.

Qualifications

• Four+ years of successful outside sales experience, preferably in retail, industrial, safety, PPE, distribution, or channel sales.
• Experience selling through distributors, dealers, buying groups, retail cooperatives, or chain accounts.
• Strong account planning, consultative selling, pipeline development, CRM usage, and territory execution.

Responsibilities

• Achieve quotas, revenue goals, profitability, and territory performance objectives.
• Develop and execute annual/ quarterly territory business plans.
• Grow relationships with distributors, dealers, buying groups, retail cooperatives, chain accounts, and end-user customers.
• Conduct regular field sales calls to support account growth and product adoption.
• Identify and close new opportunities within assigned accounts and markets.
• Support retail channel execution through product demonstrations, merchandising, and training.
