Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. seeks a Regional Quality Manager to lead QA/QC for all PV EPC projects in the assigned region.

This remote role requires regular travel to project sites, client meetings, and training for field teams to ensure compliance with SOLV Quality Management System and industry standards. The candidate will develop quality plans, perform audits, and drive continuous improvement using 5-Why or 8D methods, CAPAs, and Sunscreen training.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of quality management experience in the solar or renewable energy industry.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering; OSHA 10/30 or Journeyman qualifications are desirable.
• ASQ Certified Auditor, ISO 9001 or Six Sigma are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement quality plans aligned with SOLV Quality Management System and contract requirements.
• Establish and improve quality systems to meet industry standards and customer expectations.
• Monitor project quality through inspections and audits; identify areas for improvement.
• Oversee testing, inspection, and evaluation of materials and processes in PV projects.
• Provide training on QA practices and SOLV SOPs to project teams.
• Collaborate with PMs, engineers, suppliers, and clients to resolve quality issues.
• Document findings and prepare regular management and client reports.
• Use Sunscreen software to train teams and document quality matters.
• Conduct frequent audits of documentation, procedures, and vendor performance.
• Perform Root Cause Analysis (5-Why or 8D) and develop CAPAs.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and drive corrective actions.
