Job summary

Walsh Group is seeking a Regional Quality Manager for New England, leading quality operations across business groups. You will drive continuous improvement and risk management through the QMS to improve profitability and project outcomes.

The role emphasizes leadership, staff development, and cross-functional collaboration with clients, project managers, and operations teams. Salary reflects senior leadership with strong travel across the U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in AEC or related field.
• Preferred certification in organizational management, auditing, or training.
• Minimum 15 years in AEC with 10+ years QA/QC leadership.
• Preferred professional registration in an AEC field.
• Travel within the area/region served.
• Public speaker, presenter and trainer.
• Strong communication, critical thinking, problem-solving, prioritization, and time management.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with clients and project teams to apply quality programs regionally.
• Set up, monitor and report KPIs; analyze trends and drive improvements.
• Promote quality aligned with strategy; assist in plans and training.
• Lead staff development; mentor QC Managers; support succession and training.
• Assist in staffing quality roles and recruiting qualified personnel.
• Audit programs for continuous improvement; provide feedback on QIRs and relationships.
• Support QMS updates; establish standardized processes and SOPs.
• Contribute to cross-division quality initiatives and group improvement.
• Drive risk management to improve profitability via process controls.
• Lead mega project start-ups; assist in proposals with quality cost estimates.
• Maintain relationships with owners/clients/subcontractors; support training.
