Job summary

Asset Living seeks a Regional Manager to oversee the operations of a housing community portfolio, including personnel, leasing, maintenance, and finances. You will ensure compliance with company policies and fair housing guidelines while leading a remote/offsite team.

Travel 25-50% is expected; CAM or ARM is preferred. Strong on-site software skills and budgeting experience are required to drive performance and resident satisfaction across multiple properties.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or 4 years in housing industry.
• CAM or ARM certification preferred.
• Experience with Fair Housing and OSHA requirements.
• Ability to operate on-site software and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Screen, hire, train, coach, and develop on-site staff.
• Ensure staff effectiveness through ongoing training and guidance.
• Address performance problems and coordinate with HR.
• Prepare salary increase requests and sign off on site decisions.
• Provide evaluations and salary discussions to VP and HR.
• Approve timesheets and monitor hours, vacation, and sick time.
• Ensure policy compliance and consistency across sites.
• Drive NOI through cost control and leasing improvements.
• Develop yearly operating budgets/forecasts.
• Provide monthly income/expense evaluations.
• Suggest capital improvements for site futures.
• Monitor large projects, contracts, and bids.
• Monitor deposits, rent collections, and charges timely.
• Monitor vendor invoices and financial closeouts.
