Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Regional Manager to oversee the operations of a housing community portfolio, including personnel, leasing, maintenance, and financial controls. This offsite leadership role ensures compliance with company policies, fair housing guidelines, and risk management while driving NOI through cost control and revenue/lease improvements.

You will develop yearly budgets, supervise on-site staff, and coordinate capital improvements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred or four years in housing industry or equivalent experience.
• Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) preferred.
• Ability to operate on-site software and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Screen, hire, train, coach, and develop on-site staff.
• Ensure staff training and coaching align with Asset training benchmarks.
• Address performance issues with documentation and HR coordination.
• Prepare salary increase requests for the Community Manager and assist other team members.
• Approve all timesheets, vacation, and sick time; ensure accuracy of records.
• Monitor deposits, rent collections, and charges to ensure timely submission.
• Develop and manage annual operating budgets and forecasts; monitor variances.
• Provide capital improvement suggestions and monitor projects at properties.
