Job summary

Clark Construction Group seeks a Project Controls Manager to lead project controls for a regional portfolio and act as a financial advisor to project teams. The role manages a team of analysts, aligning regional operations with corporate finance and ensuring timely, compliant reporting.

The ideal candidate will drive KPI performance, train staff, and oversee budgets, forecasting, and cost tracking while ensuring adherence to Clark’s enterprise systems and standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
• Experience leading project controls teams and coordinating with regional operations.
• Proficiency with enterprise financial software and construction tech tools.
• Strong communication skills and ability to train and coach staff.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, train, and coach Project Controls Analysts.
• Lead staff planning and project placement to ensure coverage.
• Ensure KPI targets (Owner Pay Timeliness, Subcontractor Pay Timeliness, etc.) are met and improved.
• Oversee financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cost tracking.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders including auditors.
• Support regional compliance and contract/policy adherence.
