Job summary

The American Red Cross seeks a Regional Program Specialist - Reserve to support Services to the Armed Forces (SAF) programs overseas. SAF reserve staff undertake ~6 months deployments, with remote training and in-person sessions, living on military bases and meeting security clearances.

You will manage SAF/IS services, coordinate Hero Care Network casework, and lead volunteer teams while building strong relationships with military leadership and local partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business/public administration or related field.
• Minimum five years of program management experience.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Strong computer, public speaking and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with military culture and Red Cross programs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage delivery of Red Cross services for US military members and families.
• Coordinate emergency communications casework and log activities.
• Monitor outcomes, document reporting, and suggest improvements.
• Lead volunteer engagement and supervise mobile deployment teams.
• Build relationships with installation leadership and community partners.
• Support deployment readiness and operate in austere environments.
